It was amazing that he went on the second ride without any tears. I had to sit out and watch this one for myself.

We got Brayden to go on two rides and take pictures with Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. We will try again when he can buy his own ticket :)

Disneyland

I took a last minunte week long vacation from work. It was much needed. My health had been suffering from all the stress in my life. Being a single mom is tough. Luckily I have the best stress releiver ever. Brayden! James and I took him to Disneyland a few years ago and thought we sould take him again. Boy... Were we wrong! The pictures are great. We only have a few because Brayden did NOT enjoy Disneyland. He didn't want to go on rides. Didn't want to walk around and play in toon town. The whole time he said he wanted to go home. Thank god we got the tickets for free.

No more wings

So a couple weekends ago Brayden got out of the pool and took his wings off. We all looked at eachother and asked are you done swimming? Then to our surprise he said I don't need them anymore and away he went. He leaped right in. He swam so well. Just like a little fishy. I'm so proud :)

Brayden couldn't wait to hold his cousin. He calls him Baby Luke. Brayden also thinks

Luke is his brother. Been trying to convince him Luke is his cousin but he doesn't quite get it yet.

I'm an Aunt!!!!!!!

Wahoo! I'm an Aunt. So excited. Luke Joseph S. Sorry I can't spell the last last name. Made his apperance 7-8-09 at ten minutes to midnight via c-section. He is 7lbs 1 ounce, 20 inches long, and perfect.

Meet Chubert.....

Another Foster ! 5 week old male blue pit bull. Brayden has named him Chubert. A horrible man was selling him in a parking lot underage, covered in fleas, had worms, no shots, and severely dehydrated. It's the Pit's was able to get him and SAVE him. I took him to get all fixed up at the vet's last night and is doing great now. I have two fosters right now so things are crazy. But I love every minute of it.

Summer Time

So it is summer time. Even though I work what seems like a million hours. I'm doing my best to fit in fun stuff for Brayden. We try not to let him know what were planning. It's so cute. We tell him it's a surprise. He always asks a ton of questions trying to get us to slip up.He'll ask is there water where I'm going? Do I need a jacket where I'm going? Are we eating where were going? He's so smart.
He's growing up so fast. They always say that the time flies by. They are right it does fly. It flies way to fast. I wish I could slow it down and enjoy more.

4th of July

We watched firworks from our living room window. Pretty Nice! They shot them off at Brengel Terrace Park not to far from our house. We had a great view from the comfort of the couch.

Friday we took Brayden to Monster trucks at the Del Mar Fair. We've gone every year. Again

ears plugged from the time we walked in. It was pretty cool. They had Monster trucks, mini trophy cars, and transformers.

On the way home it was like two hours past his bed time and he was hilarious. I should of video taped him. He talked to my step dad on the phone about the game and then handed the phone off and feel right to sleep. Quick!

It's a phase

I keep hoping it is only a phase. Lately when we go out and it is noisy Brayden plugs his ears. From the time we got into the stadium until the time we left they were plugged. He wouldn't even take his hands down to drink soda!

Last Tuesday my friend Christina and I took Brayden to his second major league ball game.

Padres vs the Astros. Pads won! It was a great game. We got awesome tickets from our customers that had season tickets. Thanks Gracies parents. Gracie is a Great Dane that shops at our store.

Meet Stevie.....

This is my current foster dog. He's a bull terrier/pit mix . I've had him for

two months now. He has demodex mange and came to me almost completely bald. He looked like a freshly hatched baby bird. He had been dropped off at the shelter and his quote "family" wanted him euthanized. Horrible! It's the Pit's saved his life and know he lives with me temporarily. We are nursing him back to health and teaching him his manners. He is in his pool. He LOVES water!

Father's Day

Sunday we took Brayden's new board out. He sat and checked out the waves first. What a face....

The other day I came around the corner and had to take a second look.

Hey look at that. He fits! SO silly! He sat in the basket and watched his whole movie.

Sorry it's been so long since my last blog. Work and life has been hectic as usual. Doing my best to provide everything Brayden needs to be happy and healthy. It's not always easy but Brayden gets me through the hard times. He is the best. My favorite MAN by far.
He's so sweet.Every morning he picks me a flower at school and gives me a kiss. That's all I need to get me through the day. I usually have to get help picking him up from school due to my hectic work schedule.Thank You James and Mom. You both are life savers. Couldn't do it without your love and support. But when I get home Brayden has a flower and a kiss waiting for me. He is truly my love my life

We made kabobs. Brayden served up a mean bucket of rocks for everyone. He loves to play restaurant. He's pretty good. Always gets our order right and offers dessert.

Sunday we barbecued with friends. It was a nice relaxing day. I've been short handed at work and have been working six days a week for a while now. It felt good to finally have that family time

Brayden received a new buggie board from his Aunt Kim. Couldn't wait to test it out. He swam in his boxers. I couldn't even get trunks on him. At home he surfs on the couch. This weekend we are going to hit the real waves. Pray for good weather. Don't worry I'll take pictures :)

Sat. was my sister's baby shower. She is due the beginning of July. We are soooooo excited. My godmother's neice brought her two girls to the party and Brayden was quick to show them around.

Brayden's 4th Birthday

Wow! Another year has come and

gone. Brayden turned four this past Friday and we celebrated at our favorite sushi restaurant. I know I said sushi for a four year old's birthday. I've been taking him since he was little and he'll eat just about anything. If I tell him it's good he'll try it. We were lucky to have Beema join us for dinner. That was great sharing sashimi with my Beema (Brayden's great grandmother).
